First Baptist Church

Pastor Jason is a PK (Pastor's Kid), who surrendered his life to the ministry at the age of 23. He comes to FBC Show Low from FBC Wickenburg, where he most recently served as Associate Pastor. He grew up in Wickenburg and served in various ministries with his father, Dean, who was pastoring the Wickenburg church at the time.

He describes himself as "Lover of God, my wife (Sylvia), my kids, family, people in general, and music. This is who I am, and I do my best to keep it in that order. I love serving God and desire to be in His will. Throughout all my adult life I have served in various capacities, including worship, and youth before surrendering to ministry at age 23. I am married to my wife of 13 years. We have 4 beautiful girls (the youngest, Aryl June was born November 25, 2020) and a boy. God has placed a passion in my heart for His Church and His Community regardless of where that may take us. My desire is to see people come to know God and his saving grace and to grow in His Word."

He has been a part of the traveling Southern Gospel family trio, Heavenly Stanza, on and off for 11 years.

If you want to know anything about FBC Show Low, just ask Glenda Hardee.

She has been the Ministry Assistant since mid-October of 1993 – keeping the various pastors (and volunteers) in line.

But you won't see Glenda at our Sunday morning services.

Her husband, Vern, is the pastor at Community Baptist Church at White Mountain Lakes.
