Our church has been blessed with wonderful opportunities of serving our Lord each week through missions.
Because we are a Southern Baptist congregation, we are committed to mission ministry. We give a percentage of our budget to support local, state, and national missionaries as well as foreign missions.
We also have a group that travels to Roatan, Honduras, to serve in that area and minister to the needs of others there.
At home we have a mission program that is known as Feeding the Hungry. We prepare a hot meal on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for people in the community. We serve anywhere from 75 to 150 meals each night.
We also have a Food Box ministry that distributes boxes of food each Thursday morning to families within our community.
We send our youth on mission trips where they can serve others and minister to the needs around them.
Our Vacation Bible School provides a great opportunity to reach our community and involve children in a mission-based study of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Each year, attendance at our Trunk or Treat has grown, bringing over 1,000 children and adults to the church, where they receive not only candy but copies of God's Word and individual prayers by church members.
